ABOUT ME

I’m K.M. Garland and I combine my background in law, finance, history, and classics to tackle current events, culture, and philosophy.

My approach is multi-modal: I integrate tropical astrology with Human Design, tarot, and field mechanics. My goal is to offer a fresh approach to understand the impact of astrology on the world and our daily lives.

My newsletter and podcast The Weekly Stars grounds astrology in pattern recognition with regular forecasts and historical deep-dives that help navigate the current moment.

I believe we can use astrological tools to help us grow, remove obstacles quickly, and work with the natural timing of life rather than against.

BACKGROUND

I was raised to understand astrology and Human Design from a young age, which has provided me a unique familiarity with these systems and their archetypes.

I’m also proud of my diverse professional experience, which is unique for astrologers. I’ve worked as a legal adviser for multinational conglomerates, as an executive tackling the challenges of founding a small startup, and as a private financier. I am first and foremost a writer and historian, but also an investor and lawyer.

I’ve studied under some of the best astrology teachers in our moment, including Carol Tebbs, Arielle Guttman, Chris Brennan, Austin Coppock, Deborah Houlding, Kelly Surtees, and Rebecca Gordon.
